Welding Position

Welding & Manufacturing Company seeking a skilled, motivated and energetic Welder. Individual will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. The ideal candidate will also have a steady hand, great attention to detail and team oriented.
Responsibilities
- Take measurements using ruler
- Basic understanding/reading of blue prints
- Set up components for welding according to specifications
- Operate shears, brakes, saws and ironworkers
- Heavy lifting of material
Seeking Full-time – Mon.-Fri., 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

Requirements
- Experience in using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (MIG)
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.)
- Strong work ethic
- Technical school or degree program in welding
- Certification (e.g. an AWS Welding Certificate) recommended but not required
